It's just been one of those weeks. You know what kind I'm talking about? The one where it seemed to last forever but now all the sudden it's over. Or you just can't seem to get it together, and running around like a crazy person is your only option. Ya one of those.

So a big T.G.I.F to you & Me! Let's go have some fun!

P.S.- Thanks to everyone who shared their It's Ok moments on Wednesday. I had a grand ole time reading all of those.

I thought it was going to be pretty hard to top last years birthday, but David is a super husband and top it he did. Months before the big day he announced we were taking a trip the weekend of my birthday but I wasn't allowed to know where. Tricky he is.

But also smart, letting me know a few days before hand I could pack appropriately so I knew exactly what to wear to California a.k.a Disney Land. Gotta keep our priorities straight here.

We flew into Long Beach the morning of my birthday and headed straight for the beach. But not without stopping at an In-N-Out first (they taste better in California right?)We went to Disney the next day and not to sound cliche or anything but it was Magical.

Disney is getting it's own post later on today, because well it's Disney.

It's Ok...

-If you're just now trying Yoga for the first time and loved it.

-To go to bed at 9 (before the sun even sets) When you're tired you're tired.

-To run around the kiddie pool in Rexburg Rapids like a kiddie. Stare all you want lady I'm still gonna to do it!

-If you spent the afternoon reading blogs instead of doing homework. Alright that's really not ok don't do that. I just have to keep telling myself only 4 more weeks.

-If you forgot to put on mascara and went to all your classes looking a little off. So that's why you were getting so many weird looks. I thought natural was in for the summer?

-To cry like a huge baby in front of people you barely even know when they hand over really nice, really awesome, brand new kitchen gadgets that they just don't want! Then to start crying again when she asks if you would like this brand new beautiful blue tart pan.  Just don't let the snot run down your face like I did.

-To be a little hesitant to let husband drink from your brand new water bottle before realizing you're acting like a crazy wife! Sorry hubs.

Do you have any It's Ok moments? I know you do! Please share in the comments I would love to hear them. I know we will all feel better about ourselves when we go to sleep at night.

Summer is definitely here bringing the heat right along with it, the kind of heat that makes you want to go to Rexburg Rapids everyday, and wear your breeziest of outfits or better yet just your swimsuit. Not even our new to us A/C can cool this apartment down.

But I'm not complaining because Rexburg is only warm for 3 months out of the year, and we are going to live it up. With camping, swimming, a lot of outdoor exploring, tennis, bike riding, and consuming as much ice cream as possible. Plus anything else we can think of that includes us being outside, soaking up the sun.

The dream team was in town this weekend and you better believe we had the time of our life's. There is nothing better than having three of your best friends staying at your house all weekend long, staying up way too late, eat way too many treats, telling far too many funny jokes, playing some crazy games, making huge messes, and just laughing until you can't laugh anymore.

Thanks dream team for the best weekend ever, can't wait to do it all over again.

It's gotta be a quick one today, but I have to at least tell you about this blouse.

I had been eyeballing it ever since it hit the J. Crew floor, but there was no way I was ever going to pay $135 for it. Just crazy! So I waited for it to go on sale, hoping it would be a really good sale, the kind that knocks it to like half off.

As you know it was my birthday last week and I had a little extra cash to spend, and I knew just where I wanted to spend it.

So I'm checking out the sale at J. Crew and find this blouse and my heart does a little happy dance! I tell myself I will not spend more than $60 on it, knowing I will get the extra 15% off since I'm a student. It just happened to be on sale for $69 I figured that was a good compromise.

So I try it on it fits perfect and I'm ready to buy! I go to check out and she says ok this will be final sale since it's an extra 30% off.

Just wait it get's better. I know you're freaking out right now!

Can I still use my student discount? I say

Yes! So that will be 45% off.

So at this point my heart does a triple happy dance!

Then I tell her I want to exchange this belt I bought a couple weeks ago (too small)

Apparently that belt has gone on sale too and I get the extra money back.

Long story short (too late right) The shirt was only $20. Do I need to say that again? $20!

It went from $135 to $20!

Moral of the story do not ever buy anything full price!

So much for keeping it short! Hope you have a great weekend!

That husband sure does I tell ya. Upon arriving home he went to straight to work in the kitchen, making me a Food Network inspired dinner that could have won chopped single handed, no need for the other two rounds. Then he continues to clean the entire apartment. Folding all my clothes that cover the closet floor, washing the sheets, unpacking from our trip, doing the dishes, and vacuuming. O the vacuuming! I swoon!

Then to top it all off he helps me with my homework, when I know he would much rather be doing something else. Yes, all while whistling.

5 gold stars for this guy.

It's Ok:

-If you cried multiple times at Disney Land. First time visits will do that.

-To throw your hair in a braid and called it styled.

-To take outfit pictures on your iphone when you camera battery is dead.

-If your apartment is a little messy and a ton of laundry needs to be done.

-To crave a Bean & Cheese burrito everyday, they are so yummy.

-To make an excessive amount of to do lists when you're overwhelmed and stressed.

-To watch Grey's Anatomy from season one because you are having new episode withdrawals.

-To wish you were back at the beach instead of in class.

-If you've left your husbands April birthday decorations up to count as real decorations.

It's Ok If...

You don't want to focus on doing any homework because you're too excited for your trip.

You want to celebrate your birthday a little early with a Coco Bean Cupcake. (hint hint hubs)

You didn't participate in the Marathon this weekend, but totally planned on it. Running schedule's are too hard, it should be more like this episode of friends.  (speed up to 21 secs)

You packed way more than was necessary. You just can't predict outfits, you just can't.

You squeeze your scooter in between two other scooters when it's pretty obvious it's not going to fit.  There is no where else to park, and you were going to be late to class.

You're kind of over the whole colored pants movement, but still continue to wear yours. Does anyone else feel this way? Please say yes!
