The Weekend

1. Beautiful strawberries from the IF farmers market. 2. David's parents came to visit us from Seattle. 3. Band shirt from David's brother. Dave was suppose to go to the show with him but couldn't make it. 4-6. We went to the IF Zoo and it was so much fun. The key is to go right when it open's, it's not too hot and not too crowded.

A Fancy Night Out

A Fancy Night Out

I found this really cool fashion site the other day called Polyvore where you can compile new outfits onto story boards like shown above. It's a lot of fun to see what you can come up with an unlimited amount of options. I also found out that they have teamed up with VOGUE for a fashion night out and created a little fashion competition.

The Prize is a photo shoot in New York City. Gosh I hope I win! But here's the great new's it's free to enter so everyone should! Go here to enter. Above is the outfit I came up with and I really wish I could have it in real life.

So good luck! I would love to see your outfit's if you guy's enter!
Have a Fancy Day!

Bloglovin'

Skirt: Nordstrom, Shirt/Watch: Target, Shoes: H&M, Necklaces: Urban and Forever 21

I'm ashamed to admit this as a blogger, but I just figured out what Bloglovin' is and I have to say it's pretty amazing! I'm officially on there, so if that's the way you follow a blog here you go. (afancyday)
If your anything like me and it took you years to even adventure over to Bloglovin' you should really go check it out. It's amazing and such an easy way to find new blogs, because we all know how much we love to find new blogs to follow. I will put a link up on the side of the blog later.

I spent 5 hours yesterday doing hair in the park for an event Rexburg put on for young kid's about to go back to school. It was so much fun and after doing probably a hundred braids, buns, and whatever else I decided why not do my own hair. I never braid my own hair in fear it will look ridiculous but I think it turned out pretty good, more braids to come!

Have A Fancy Day!

Swim Time

Dress: H&M, Fedora: Urban, Necklace: Forever 21

The other day we tried to go swim at Splash Park. If you've lived in Rexburg you know it's mostly for the kid's, but it was so hot and we really wanted to go. Unfortunately when we got there it had been taken over by the children and I would have felt extremely awkward running around in my swimsuit in front of all of the parents. So instead we just put our feet in the little fountains... sigh.

At the library

While at the library the other day we decided to start our own book club I had been wanting to read Wicked and they just happened to have two copies. I'm having a really hard time getting into it though, we may have to switch book's. Does it get better the farther into the book you go? After the library we went next door to the Tabernacle (where David proposed) and read on the lawn.

Fab Bag

Sweater/Bag/Rings: H&M, Leggings: J.Crew, Shoes: Target.

Can you tell I had a lot of fun at H&M? I've been looking for a good going to work on the subway bag. Something that will hold a pair of comfortable shoes to walk around the city in, an umbrella in case it rains, and some make up so I will look o so glamorous when I meet David for dinner.  I'm sure there will be other things I will learn about once I get there.

The Weekend

1. Had a picnic with friends. 2. Bike Racing in the park. 3. Besties. 4. Taking a picture of a picture/ Dusty is the Rat King in his rat shirt. 5. David went fishing. 6. Cliff Lake. 7. At the Snake Bite in Idaho Falls. 8. Veggie burger was o so delicious. 9. Waiting for my Oreo Shake at Scotty's. 10. Coco... in a box. 11. I love cereal.

If you follow me on twitter you got a small update on our awful camping experience,  never in my life have I had so many things go wrong in such a short amount of time.

Let me explain tragedy after tragedy. We had planned to go camping at Cliff Lake, we had never been before so we didn't know there were only 5 campsites available. ALL were full, on a Monday. So we drive across the way to Wade Lake( cliff and wade are neighbors). It was closed for maintance. So we decide to swim in the Cliff lake since we are already there and plan to drive to Quake Lake after to camp.

The lake was beautiful, but full of weird fish and lot's of bug's. We brought our blow up raft, but that was too good to be true, and it had a hole in it.  At this point my spirit's are still high. That was before I got attacked by a very large black bug with lot's of leg's. We left. Me crying.....

And the adventure continues. We can't find Quake Lake anywhere so we decide to drive to Ashton to go camping at this place called Warm River Campground. Online it say's that it cost's $10, which is all we have in cash. Perfect right? No we get there and it's $13, obviously we don't' have enough, so we drive to the nearest gas station and the ATM will not give us our cash. We have to call some number and make them give us back our cash. I know it never end's. Then the rain comes and we give up and drive home, move the mattress into the living room and call it camping, with s'more's roasted over the stove.

Sorry for the long story, I just had to share. Besides all of that we did have a really nice long weekend. Maybe we will be able to go camping before the summer is over if not there is a tent for sale if anyone is interested.
