I was exhausted at this point and we were only half way.
2 hours later from when we started we got to this. Beautiful view of the Tetons.
I did it!!
He did it!!
now for the Hike down hooray!
At the bottom
We are almost there you can see some of the Beauty...
All 3 hours were worth it for this.
Too bad it was super windy so we couldn't go swimming. But I'm glad it wasn't too Hot or else the hike would have been awful. We ate our snacks, and hung out for a bit. Hiking down was much faster, it only took us an hour.
Even the drive out to Packsaddle was beautiful.
This is much cooler in real life. I didn't think we were going to make it through in our little car but David is an excellent driver.

That is simply beautiful. I'm so happy you are able to do things like this. Life is much more than we know, isn't it? I love you both.
ReplyDeleteThat's so awesome that you guys know about this place....Cody's sister lives in driggs (which is only 20 mins from packsaddle lake) and we go 4wheeling there all the time. Usually the water is freezing and never warms up until like late aug. Looks like you two had a great hike! I've only hiked down it once with all my nephews, but it's totally fun! funny story....we went up once in like april when spring was finally there and we ran across a group of BYU-I students hiking in flip flops and shorts (there was still a ton of snow in some areas) and they though the hike to the lake was only 1/2 a mile haha we thought it was really funny, but ended up taking them to the lake on our 4wheelers....glad you guys were smarter than that :)
